| Description

Action pledge 1
Current adaptation responses often lack appropriate data and tools for assessing impacts of gender-differentiated coping abilities in different sectors. To address this, WEDO's action pledge consists of two main activities. First is the collection of sex-disaggregated data and production of a comprehensive methodology to address gaps in gender-responsive action on adaptation. Second is a capacity building program and learning platform to support policymakers and civil society in the design and implementation of gender-responsive adaptation policies and actions. These activities are pledged in order to realize effective and efficient adaptation actions for the most vulnerable groups of populations. |
