| Description
|
The Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA), hosted by Conservation International (CI) and the World Bank, focuses on catalyzing information, institutions, and action around climate adaptation to promote a new vision of sustainable development, despite uncertain freshwater futures. AGWA’s main objectives are to assist government, non-governmental, and private sector institutions in adapting to climate change impacts by closing the gaps between pools of expertise, creating a policy landscape that fosters adaptation success, and translating best practices into operational reality. It is positioned both to communicate as a cohesive group to other networks and institutions and to act within the AWGA network. |
