GWP Action Pledge 3
Host an Expert Round Table meeting to seek recommendations from water experts for the technical workshop on water mandated under the Nairobi work programme and collaborate with experts in implementing follow up actions in furthering the discourse on water resources under the Nairobi work programme.
Actions:
1) Support the organisation of an Expert Round Table meeting of water experts to provide recommendations for preparation of a UNFCCC technical workshop on Water and Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Strategies
2) Collaborate with the NWP partner organizations and other relevant organizations in strengthening a Thematic focus on water resources through establishment of informal collaborative teams to undertake relevant actions around identified sub-themes related to water and climate change adaptation |
