(Relating to the NWP areas of work Climate Related Risks and Extreme Events, and Adaptation Planning and Practices) The ORA develops and disseminates tools to evaluate and reduce agricultural risks from an integral perspective, thus contributing to generate an adequate framework for the expansion and diversification of the insurance markets and instruments targeting the agriculture and forestry sector of Argentina. The ORA expects to develop activities, together with other countries of the region, to improve information for the evaluation of agricultural risk and to develop prevention strategies for extreme events.
