Adaptation Practices
The adaptation practices interface is a gateway to information on adaptation practices worldwide. It provides a summary of adaptation practices by a large range of organizations, agencies and businesses, along with descriptions and relevant links and publications. The interface was mandated by the SBSTA, see SBSTA 25 report FCCC/SBSTA/2006/11 (paragraph 59).
It was updated for the thirtieth session of the SBSTA (June 2009).

Training

The project “AdaptCap – Strengthening Adaptation Capacities and Minimizing Risks of Vulnerable Coastal Communities in India” financed by the European Commission set out to strengthen the adaptation capacities of vulnerable coastal communities in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu (India) and minimize their climate change-related risks using an integrated approach. The three-year initiative was implemented by the Indo-German Environment Partnership Programme of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ-IGEP) in partnership with four Indian and international partners (AVVAI Village Welfare Society, Academy of Gandhian Studies, adelphi, and ICLEI South Asia).
