UNDP Environment & Energy Group project: Capacity development for policy makers to address climate change
The overall goals of the project are twofold:
• Increased national capacity to raise awareness and co-ordinate Ministerial and stakeholder views on climate change, leading to enhanced participation in the UNFCCC process;
• Support for long-term climate change planning and priority setting, using assessments of investment and financial flows (I&FF) to cost climate change mitigation and actions in up to 3 key sectors, which can provide a better understanding of the magnitude and intensity of national efforts needed to tackle mitigation and adaptation actions to address climate change. |
