CATHALAC Action pledge II
The Regional Master’s degree in Climate Change at CATHALAC is a programme designed from the Latin American reality perspective in order to train professionals capable of developing solutions to reduce vulnerability, propose adaptation measures and mitigation strategies customized to the local context. Additionally, participants will be able to create long‐term sustainable development projects, through application of in‐depth knowledge acquired on the evolving global socio-economic context, and international negotiations and related mechanisms.
This pledge contributes to the areas of work: - Methods and tools; - Data and observations; - Climate related risks and extreme events; - Adaptation planning and practices; - Climate modeling, scenarios and downscaling; - Technologies for adaptation. |
