| Description
|
The Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN) is a consortium of individuals and institutions dedicated to the analysis of climate change mitigation and adaptation and energy issues from an urban perspective. It is designed to enhance cutting-edge scientific, economic and planning-related research and to promote knowledge-sharing among researchers, urban decision-makers, and stakeholders about all aspects of climate change and cities.
The UCCRN is coordinating city-centered scientific assessments and state-of-the-knowledge reports for urban decision-makers, to help build capacity for action. The first in this on-going series, the First UCCRN Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities (ARC3), presents current mitigation and adaptation research and practice in over 100 cities around the globe, and is available from Cambridge University Press. The UCCRN is in the process of developing its second assessment report, ARC3-2. |
