Water Research Commission



The Water Research commission (WRC) is a dynamic hub of water centred knowledge, innovation and intellectual property, supporting sustainable development through research funding, knowledge creation and dissemination.  The vision of the WRC is to be a globally recognised leader in providing innovative solutions for sustainable water management to meet changing needs of society and of the environment.  There are five key strategic areas of focus:the water resource management, water-linked ecosystems, water use and waste management, water utilisation in agriculture and water knowledge management.  The WRC covers the entire water cycle operating at national and international level collaboratively with research partners.
