The study addresses the urgent need to link DRR and CCA, while criticallyreflecting on opportunities and limitations. On the basis of a review of currentstrategies to link DRR and CCA at the international, national and local leveland around 59 standardized as well as non-standardized expert interviews withna-tional and international experts of diverse professional backgrounds, thisreport summarizes the challenges for a fruitful integration. In addition, it givesguidance for the future direction by providing practical recommen-dations andquality criteria for developing effective strategies for adaptation to extremeevents. |
