CDKN Action Pledge 1

CDKN, in collaboration with GIZ and The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, is convening a Knowledge Brokers Workshop in Eschborn, Germany, from 3-5 June 2011. This will bring together around 20 of the leading global and regional initiatives involved in online knowledge brokerage work on climate and development, including a mix of web portals and other knowledge sharing platforms. 

The overarching objective of is to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing within the sector, in order to help reduce duplication of effort and better meet the needs of developing country information users.

The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) supports decision makers in designing and delivering climate compatible development.  It is managed by an alliance of six private and non-governmental organisation: PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), LEAD, Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano, South-South-North and INTRAC, with services provided through a network of collaborating organisations and individuals around the globe.
