CiA is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to create an awareness for and advancement of corporate social responsibility and personal social responsibility amongst all stakeholders, through long term collaborative partnerships. In Nigeria currently, awareness for climate change issues is quite minimal. CiA's pledge, as the NWP's premier member organisation in Nigeria, is to research organisations, especially those in the private sector, who show regard for the environment in their operational activities and encourage them to consciously pursue climate change adaptation activities. We aim to achieve this goal through educating them about the work of the UNFCCC and recommending membership to them. We believe that this will further enmesh them in environmentally responsible behaviour. |
